blogging those damn spammers

Spammers are vermin, as we all know. Sadly and very annoyingly they've started using the anonymous-comment facility on this and other blogs to spread their fetid presence yet more widely. Since I already encounter more than enough SPAM, I've switched off anonymous comments, so I hope people will be willing to go through the registered route to correct my mistakes and challenge my views (or perhaps even agree with me).
